Finished Nonoka's route in Clear. Protagonist's vampirism didn't play a part at all in that route, so I'm assuming it will do so in the others and by 'didn't play a part at all' I mean literally, heroine never even found out I'm sure she'll keep bringing him his morning tomato juice and be none the wiser Mind, there is an after story which I haven't read yet, which opened up when I cleared the route so it might happen there but seriously, you'd think it would be pretty important considering there's, i dunno, a 1 in X chance that any children they have would end up being vampires too It just seems like poor story construction for the writer to not consider this I'll do the imouto route next. Not sure if she's aware of the vampire thing-- I suspect not Is Starforce likely to be a problem for gaijin? I'm just reading about it, and it doesn't seem like it will be but Nah It's not activation or anything + I think nowadays it's probably matured to the point that you'd hardly notice it Hmm, morning tomato juice = blood right? :P Still odd that the writer didn't really work it into the plot, unlike Merge in Dokoiku No, it's actually tomato juice In Fortune Arterial the main heroine uses hospital transfusion blood, but I guess blood isn't quite as vital in Clear But yeah, while I'm sure other routes will make it more important, the fact that there was a route (at least one) where it was barely even mentioned seemed like the mark of a badly designed story Hm, maybe do the afterstory first just to check? It's probably only 20-30 minutes at most. Yeah, alright h scene already, ctrllllllllllllllll 左手がとまらない（CTRLは押され） ... back to the title screen I am speechless wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww so there's really nothing apart from the eroscene? basically there was some dialogue at the start I read through in under a minute, eroscene, end what was even the point.. No idea. It's (presumably) not a nukige, so I don't see the point of just having eroscenes separated from the story either. The route itself had two H scenes, both fairly close to each other and also very close to the end of the route Their placing simply lacks the 'taste' that former MOON STONE titles had DokoIku the majority of the H scenes (Ema's 6) were story-relevant and existed to make a point Ashita Deatta did a sort of similar thing to Clear, but with just one scene per each of the 4 heroines in the game itself, plus one scene each in the form of omake which worked but the thing Clear did that bothered me is throw in two H scenes that didn't feel all that necessary, then throw in a third that wasn't necessary either into the after story Felt somewhat silly Ah right, agreed. I guess I can even excuse DokoIku's per-heroine H scenes as well because.. they still felt better used than the ones in Clear and DokoIku couldn't really add per-heroine after stories consistantly And if there wasn't a scene for each heroine, people would complain rather loudly thanks to the fact that three out of five routes don't end in any position for after stories to work and one out of five doesn't end with a romantic relationship with the heroine So the only route that could sensibly have an after story with a H scene is the osananajimi route Yeah, it would have been nice if the individual routes were a little longer, but the scenes still didn't feel that odd. Mizuki should have a route (in Clear) so far Natsuki's route seems more about Mizuki than Natsuki.. And as the pattern generally goes, Mizuki's a better character than Natsuki? At this stage, definitely Natsuki is boring Actually most of the heroines are boring Protagonist is one of the more interesting characters 光一「はーん。あそう。今時のガキは俺には理解できんね。ソドムとゴモラじゃあるめえし。退廃ですか」 heroines don't know what he's talking about half the time though If the winnable heroine here was Mizuki, it would make the protagonist's involvement in this story a lot closer and more interesting this confuses me though If Natsuki has her own full story, why aren't we going through that instead of spending time on this Mizuki stuff? If she doesn't and this is just Mizuki's story, why isn't Mizuki the heroine? It doesn't make much sense to me right now The writing is good, the characters are generally well designed and the stories are fine but Clear reeks of poor construction Hm, and it's probably not the sort of game that would allow for 3P Aha, Natsuki does know the protagonist is a vampire They're really setting this up as if Mizuki was the heroine of the route I wonder if something's going to happen Vampire hunting? :P Actually, I don't think so The reason I don't think so is because that's what the PROTAGONIST thinks Ah right the protagonist's face has two modes; 'indifferent' and 'somewhat annoyed' Also, I've got an added respect for this route now It's made it clear why Mizuki can't be the heroine, at least Epic rejection scene I always love those
